happiness is...

finding something this adorable at a garage sale!
I have been looking for a shelf to hold my cookbooks and pottery...and there it was at a garage sale!

We've been doing a little decorating at our new pad...Mr. Tidy added the beadboard in the kitchen...he did such a great job...and then I painted the rest of the kitchen with the color sandpiper by Martha...it really brightens this room!

I have always loved blue willow china...and now i can see it everyday!

got this pink beauty at a garage sale for $5 (luv)

so much more to show ya!

i did manage to escape for a few days to one of my favorite places...asheville, nc!!  lots of yummy food, fun shops, the most delicious chocolate i've ever tasted, and lots of breathtaking views

and i'm getting ready for a show this week...come see me at the
Whittington Creek Art Show and Sale!!

bringing feisty back!!

I'm back!!!
So, yes, it has been quite a while...almost a year to be exact!!
I have been super busy during that time!
I started a little photography business...
and I love being behind the lens...
but being a gal that can't just focus on one creative area...
I am longing for those creative adventures of my feisty days...
painting, cooking, gardening, decorating, thrifting...etc!!
So, I am bringing feisty back!

We recently moved to another house and I am super excited to make it feisty-ful!
I feel like I have a new palette!
And I hope you'll join me for my decorating do-overs!
I have also started a new garden,
I'll be thrifting as much as possible,
and I'm sooo ready to create some new paintings!

So, won't you join me for my daily shenanigans?
I promise to inspire or at least give you a good laugh...

thought I would give ya a little sneak peek of my new place...

loving the lighting in the living area...

my mom and I planted beautiful blue hydrangeas and pink impatients in the garden...

my art studio...still very much a work in progress

This is what i see everyday in my backyard...
I think he's laughing at me!

and i'm also getting ready for a local show!!
how exciting!!
i love how all the photos look next to each other...
thinking i may need a grouping of them together on one of my walls!

so much more to show you...tune in soon!!!!
