catching up

I thought it would be fun to give you an update on some of my new feisty frugal finds...
  1. A charming old chair that needed a home.  She is happy living here now:)
  2. The sweetest little vase with a pale pink inside for just $1.
  3. A Homer Laughlin plate that looks lovely with green pears.
  4. The coolest old door that needs a good cleaning.  The hardware alone makes me swoon!
  5. Everyone needs a little red travel case and a McCoy pitcher.
  6. I can't even begin to think of how long it took someone to make this amazing little pillow!
  7. That yellow countertop was such a find!  Perfect for a happy backdrop.
  8. Found the shutters and heart cutting board for super cheap:)
  9. And who doesn't love vintage flatware?  Gorgeous!
I love filling my home with things that have a history.
I often wish I knew the stories behind the pieces I buy,
like who sat in that old chair,
whose precious hands made that amazing quilted pillow,
and who chopped veggies on that cutting board?
This intrigues me so much.  I think about it a lot.  Do you?
Have you been thrifting lately?
What fun things did you find?
