spring has sprung

Yay for Spring!  It's amazing how the nice weather can give you a little pep in your step!
I was able to spend some time in a sunny studio this week.

Worked on this palette knife painting with some new springy colors.

Another new one...

I also enjoyed some time outdoors, taking a few photos of the daffodils.

I even hung some laundry out on the line.
I found this adorable quilt a few weeks ago at the thrift.
Mildred, the wheelbarrow and I are ready to garden!
Yes, I named her:)  She's pretty special.
Bring on Spring!
Hope you are having a great week, too!

life lately

So, it has been a while since the last time I posted.
I've enjoyed watching the seasons change form fall to winter, photographing it all.

It's always fun to get a little snow.
Of course, I have been thrifting.  A lot.

Still photographing food, too.
Baking a lot during all this cold weather.

 Longing for spring to arrive…
Tulips always help brighten the day.
Much time has been spent in the studio, too.
I'm super happy to be able to create again.
It's been too long since I've gotten in an art groove, but it's happening…
 slowly but surely.

A few things I've made the past few months…

Lemon Landscape (oil pastel)

 3 Empty Spaces, oil pastel

 3 Orange Flowers, oil pastel

 Tangerine, acrylic
 Berry Smoothie, mixed media
 Lipstick Landscape, mixed media

Haven't name this one yet, but it's oil pastel.
We had a warm day not too long ago and it makes me so ready for spring.
Can't wait to play in the dirt again.
